Wave Photography
Yesterday was another beautiful day. There were some perfect little waves to shoot. So I swam out, in my trunks (no wetsuit in October!!!) and played in the surf for a while. I love photographing waves. Every wave is different and you just never know what you are going to get.
I have a lot of people asking what equipment I use. These photos were taken with the Nikon D200 and the Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye lens. I use all SPL Waterhousings for my surf photography. Sean makes great housings! None of my housings have ever leaked.

Santa Ana Season...
good for surfers....bad for everyone else. Click here to learn a little more about them. So we had some real bad Santa Ana's yesterday and already some fires. Here are some photos from the Sesnon Fire.
Then there are some photos that make you go hmmmm...
And now the ironic one...gasoline and fire don't mix...
...he was only filling up his chainsaw...
Thank you Firefighters for all your hard work!!!

This is Meredith Anne Butte, she is a great up and coming female longboarder. I got the pleasure to shoot with her yesterday in some fun surf at Malibu. FYI...she is looking for sponsors to help her become a professional longboarder. If you are a team manager or know any please send them my way. THANKS...
